I currently have an Uppababy Vista, a toddler and new pregnancy SPD.

This is not working!

I need light, light, light. Doesn't need to recline or anything, but should be comfy. HELP!

I heard big wheels make for easier pushing too? Maybe..?

Many things... Specifically what type of thing are you looking for beyond easy to push? Something small, light, forward facing? Something off road like with big tyres? Something like the vista but lighter to push and lift?

RandomMess · 22/02/2015 22:22

Bugaboo Frog (or Cam) honestly I tried everything else was by far the lightest!!

Plus with the suspension you can just roll over somethings rather than having to get up and down kerbs etc.

Sorry, um, what else - don't do any off road. All city walking. Outward facing. Small would be preferable, but not essential as long as very light. TIA!

Hmm, thing is with the bugaboos is resentment at paying for new carrycot etc when I didn't buy Vista til DD was 6 months, so already have that carrycot sitting pristine for DC2...

Doesn't sound like you need all singing all dancing, sounds like you need compact but very easy to handle, to supplement the vista you already have.

Hmm the baby jogger city mini gt is pretty light to push, less light to lift. The city mini zip looks great too, haven't had my hands on one so can't confirm how light that will be. Quite a number of people have bought the Nuna pepp around here recently, that could be an option. The Babyzen Yoyo is really great, the recaro easylife is pretty good too imo.

Stuff like the nipper 360 Is probably the very lightest to push but it's not small at all and when I had one a few years ago it was lots heavier to lift than the published weight. Not ridiculous but compared to the tiny stuff like the yoyo etc. they aren't light to lift.

The bugaboo bee is very easy to push and steer and doesn't have a separate carrycot. Will you need to fold it regularly though? I found that my SPD meant I couldn't put enough pressure on my leg to push it down to unfold. Baby jogger city mini is brilliant for folding and being solid, but it feels like pushing a tank compared to the bee.

I recently bought the city mini zip and it's incredibly lightweight and easy to fold.

Oh I just bought 2nd hand and found the frog easier to push than than the cam or the bee!!!!

There are some good 3 wheelers out there I agree but being a buggy addict it was the frog/cam (I ended up with a hybrid at one point) I tried and awful awful lot.

Even you can get one 2nd hand the bob revolution is amazing too!

Thanks ladies. Off to look all of that up! Never have to fold (keep it open in a big hall), so folding not an issue - light to push and up and down curbs the biggie.

DH asking about mclaran style buggies - thoughts?
