Would you buy a new travel system at 5 months?

Sorry to post again, I posted yesterday about joie chrome vs quinny buzz.

My husband has now said because we've had our graco evo pram, carrycot and car seat refunded, we should just use our zia 2, and keep the refunded money for something else.

Part of me agrees with him but on the flip side, i think 5 months is too young to be in a stroller, and that id miss having her facing me.

Would you buy a new travel system at 5 months if your original one broke and you have the money or would you just make do with a stroller?

My DD still enjoys Facingme at 16 months. My pushchair is so much easier to push than a stroller. If you use it quite a bit I would replace if I could. Check online or mothercare outlet for deals. In our mother are outlet they have a travel system reduced from £200 to £40. No idea how good it is, but better than a stroller probably.

Id buy a new one but then DD still faces me at 14 months!

I wouldn't buy a travel system but I would buy a rear facing pushchair and look into a group 0/1 car seat that stays in the car.

My 22 month old and I love chatting when we're out and about but we spend a lot of time walking with the pushchair, if you don't then I don't think its a big issue.

Thanks all. I spend a lot of time walking so I'm convinced on a parent facing one now :-)

I was going to say depends how much you use it.

DS is just shy of 6months and due to space saving is now in a cossatto supa, but I don't walk very many places with him unfortunately Sad.

If you walk about a lot I would keep her parent facing Smile.

I'd definately go for the Joie Chrome then:o

I really dislike the Buzz though, that strange little wheel and crappy basket just irritate me for some reason.

You could compromise and get a stroller that is parent facing and has a full recline so baby can lay flat.
