Can a toddler stand on Oyster Max without a buggy board?

I like the look of the Oyster Max and I'm fed up of using my Joovy which is now horrible to push now DC are heavier (2&3). Its hard to tell but photos of the Oyster Max look like a toddler might be able to stand on the back bar for brief rides. Anyone know if this is possible? Eldest DC mostly walks now but it would be handy to have him jump on occassionally when we need to get a move on etc.

No, older children should never stand on the back of pushchairs. I could bend the frame and would invalidate the guarantee. The manufacturer would make you pay for the repair as it would be 'customer misuse'. Most repairs start from £50 which is the price of a buggy board, that you could sell on after you've finished using.

Thanks. I appreciate it's never recommended by manufacturers but I've seen prams and buggys being pushed with a toddler perched on the frame at the back. I was hoping the Oyster Max might have a suitable shape for a quick occasional hop-on. I have a double already for trips when I need to use both seats properly.
