Bee - how much off road capability?

I know the Bugaboo Bee is designed as an urban pushchair, and clearly the small wheels will have a limit. But how well does it roll on the likes of say, a canal towpath or a reasonably well mown grassy field?

We live in a suburban environment but have both of these things near to us. Would the Bee deal with these terrains OK? Or should we be looking for something with bigger wheels?

None! Certainly not as a regular thing. My friend and I used to go to buggy fit and she nearly rattled her Bee to pieces on a towpath. She ended up buying a cheap off road buggy for anything other than pavement walks.

Our Bee is 3yrs old and on the second child, it was perfect for city life and now were rural it's ok-ish. I've found mine fine on a grassy field. Spent the week on the beach and on costal paths. Not ideal but it worked. Having said that if I were buying a new one tomorrow, I'd go for one with bigger wheels just because our lifestyle has changed since moving out of London.

If you like bugaboo then I've pushed our cam3 all over the place with no problems.

Used a techno xt and silver cross Pop which is extremely light but neither compare in terms of comfort and ease of pushing.

Thanks for your opinions, still some thinking to do!

Agree with others here, mine is good on anything smooth, even an uneven pavement makes it rattle. Grass and beach and other off-road surfaces is doable but very rattly and a bumpy ride for baby. I have a cam for the off road and bee for the car/shopping etc.
