What's the best light weight stroller for an 18 month old?

Hi all,
Very new to this and looking for some advice from all you experienced mums!
My little boy is almost 18 months and I'm looking to down size his big pram for a more light weight stroller. What's the best one to go for?
It needs to have a wide seat as my lb is a chunky monkey!
It's needs to recline and have a comfortable seat as he still naps during the day.
I'd like it to be lightweight and compact.

I love the bugaboo bee but when I tried him in one it was a tight squeeze lol!
I like the look of a baby jogger city mini as it has a big canopy but don't know much about them.
Maclaren techno xt and xlr look like they might fit the bill too but I'm not sure what's the best out of the 2?
I'm open to any other brands too as longs as they have the wide seat ect haha!

Thanks in advance for any advice :-)x

I had the same issue with DS and bought the Maclaren XT but both of us hated it (uncomfy seat, clunky recline mechanism, hard to push, plus despite what everyone told me his feet could reach the wheels causing us to stop/start constantly).

We then borrowed a Maclaren XLR which I wasn't keen on either as the harness was awkward to use, felt really heavy to push although the seat was slightly more padded.

Eventually I ended up with a Baby Jogger City Mini which I loved. The bigger wheels and single handle made it much easier and lighter to push with a bigger child in. It has a fair amount of storage, hood is great for summer and of course the fold is amazing! Again though the seat isn't hugely padded so I line ours with a sheepskin liner.

I passed ours on to a friend when DS was 3.5, she used it for 3 years and we now have it back for our 1 year old.

I like my nuna pepp but you'll have to look at the wheels and see if they're suitable for wherever you'll be using it.

Thank you :-) when I looked up reviews of the maclarens on YouTube my first thought was the seats didn't looked very comfortable. I like the idea of the one handed fold on a baby jogger.
I think the nuna pepp looks cool but the seat doesn't look very big from what I've read on it.
We live in the city so only need the stroller for shopping, trips to the park ect, off-road wheels aren't necessary :-) We are going on holiday next month so a compact fold ect would be handy for then too
:-)
