Calling all pramaholics - how much could I expect to sell my pram for?

I've got a silver cross 3d in the original pistachio.
No scratches to the frame and no stains on any of the fabrics.

Have the matching parasol, footmuff, change bag and raincover, along with the newborn lie flat bit. In very very good used condition.

Only selling as it doesn't fit in our new car so need a new pram for our new baby.

Thanks x

Hi,

You'd have to check Ebay or Preloved to see what others are selling for.

Unfortunately, in my experience of trying to sell my very well-looked after prams (I can often be found on a Sunday afternoon cleaning my prams, much like a middle-aged man cleaning and polishing his car!), people seem to be after something for nothing and will make you silly offers!

I've ended up selling a mint condition Maclaren Techno XT (about 2 years old at the time of selling, and never used as a main pram - obviously the wheels showed that the pram had been used but the seat and frame were immaculate) for £50, including the rain cover and a Maclaren seat liner. Then I sold a Mothercare MyChoice 4 wheeler for £75, again in mint condition and with all the accessories. The only reason it looked used was the wheels, you could have bought a new one and used it for a day and it would have looked like my second hand one.

I currently have a Maclaren Quest that I am not hopeful of getting anything significant for, but I'm hoping I'll be able to get £100 for a mint condition Baby Jogger City Mini next year.

Good luck selling your pram!

Thanks. Seeing as it cost £375 brand new I was thinking of asking for £100. Maybe that's too much :-(

That sounds reasonable to me, and I would pay that if I could see the pram was in a nice condition. Silver Cross is a decent brand, and the prams are well-made.

I'd advertise it at that, but expect people to message you offering anything from £75.
