I have a challenge for you, if its possible.

I currently have a gracco trekko duo but I hate it, its too heavy and dd isn't very happy in it. Its like a Phil and teds. I've worked out I can save around £250 in 10 weeks so that's my budget.

I need a tandem as I really dislike side by side buggies and I need to be able to get around the local shops and the trekko just about fits.

So, £250 budget, needs to accommodate a baby and toddler and be a tandem that's better for dd2 needs multiple recline for ds. It doesn't need to have the car seat/carry cot things, just the seats. I don't want anything too bulky and preferably if it can be folded up one handed and fold up without removing seats and is quite compact so I can get buses and taxis etc

Do you think one may exist like this?

Not bulky, one handed fold with both seats on, compact, recline on one seat or both? How old is younger dc?

The closest I can think of is an umbrella fold tandem, a cosatto or my child sienta, that type of thing. Or a graco duo tandem. I don't know if any of these are one hand fold though.

Most other I can think of require bits removing and fold only in pieces.

Dd is 15 months and ds is10 weeks.

I'll Google the my child sienta and see if I like.

Its really annoying me that all the ones I like are 500+. Plus, they are slightly impractical.

I'm not so keen on the graco but the sienta is quite nice. Need to look at the dimensions though!

Thank you

The one piece fold is the trickiest thing. The jane twone folds with one seat on but not one handed, technically the lower seat is suitable from 6m, I used it from hmmm 4-5m and it was okay. I don't tend to do all day trips tho. That would come in under 250 used and possibly not much over that new. It'd be easier to push than an umbrella tandem but basket space is almost nonexistant. Another option to look at possibly?

Quite possibly. I'll have a look at what I can find on the net.

I know its the fold that's stumping me too. I'm going to be either with a 9yo or on my own so I need something that doesn't take 3 people to put it down :)
