Joolz Day - What car will it fit in?

I have a Joolz Day (love it), and am in the market for a new car (a tree fell and crushed my car on Thursday). Has anyone got this buggy and a car with a boot in which it comfortably fits? My now written off Peugeot 207 was ok - it would fit, if the parcel shelf was taken out, and there was nothing else in the boot - but something a bit roomier/easier would be great!

Any recommendations? Thanks!

I guess you just need to go to the next size of car - 308, focus, astra, golf, i30.. that type of thing. It would also fit in an ibiza st, Clio tourer, 208 estate etc. if you wanted to stick to a smaller car.

Hmm I couldn't get it in my mum's focus without taking out the parcel shelf either (I know taking the parcel shelf out isn't the end of the world though!). I just wondered if anyone out there had a Joolz and a car with a surprisingly roomy boot, to see if there were any models of car we ought to actively seek out...

I have a Skoda Fabia estate, and find it a brilliant combination of small car and large boot. I can get my Nipper 360 in with the parcel shelf. Just!

I'm with bike we have an ibiza st, small car big boot, job done. I now need to ask just how big is it that it doesn't fit in a focus boot?!

Thanks for your suggestions! I have always fancied an Ibiza... To be honest, I didn't try all that hard to fit it in the focus, it probably would go in if I tried a bit harder.

It won't take as much space once we're using the pushchair rather than the carry cot (although then I guess we'll need to find space in the car for a travel cot too).

The main issue is that we only really use the car at the moment when going away to visit parents etc. so the car is usually properly loaded up. I'm on mat leave at the moment so I walk most places. Once I'm back at work I'll be driving loads without a super full car and so I'm not keen on going for a much bigger car just to get the buggy in the boot, since it's not a problem we will have forever.

The chassis fits comfortably in the boot of our Golf. For short periods (eg a around supermarket) I'll then pop the car seat on the chassis. If we need to take the carrycot or seat then that goes on the back seat next to baby. You'd need an enormous boot to get chassis and carrycot / seat in.
