Hi. Just joined netmums so hope this post is ok. My lb is very tall and big (on 91st cent line). He's 13m and showing no signs of walking as he has hyper mobility. We currently have an icandy peach but hes getting too big for it and can't really use the hood anymore. So im looking at the baby jogger city select as the seat is bigger and the hood is adjustable. We walk a lot so it's not going in the car just out and about. Ive got a buggy for shopping but would like a more substantial pushchair for the winter. Does anyone have one and what' s the pros and cons please.

To be honest, first of all have you set your Peach up correctly. I have had much older children sat in the Peach underneath the hood, strapped in (8 and 10 year olds!). My own daughter was very tall but she was in the Peach until she was nearly 4. Try removing the liner, push the hood right up the frame, and if necessary unzip it at the back. Remember your son's head and back will not grow much from here - it will be his legs which sprout.

I love my Baby Joggers as well. I would recommend the Versa over the City Select for a single pushchair. The chassis is neater. This might help especially the photos of the children at the bottom, and the sideways photos. I used to constantly catch my City Select either with the front wheels which stick out further than you think, or the rear wheels which were too wide for many displays. The City Select chassis is very heavy too. They are lovely pushchairs, but the Versa is a better single IMHO.

I have the City Mini Jogger live it. Awesome sunhood, easiest fold/unfold ever and fairly flat for a large pushchair which would be good for cafes buses etc.

DD1 still can travel comfortably in it when she gets tired and boots her baby sister out and she's a tall 4.

Huge storage baskets and easy to manoeuvre. Actually more practical (though less pretty / padded for a newborn) than my extortionate bugaboo.
