Hello
My husband and I are expecting out first baby at the end of january.
My husband has cerebral palsy effecting his right side primarily his right arm and hand. We need advice on a light weight pram that can be pushed, folded and strapped very easily ideally one handed so that he can use it independently . I have looked at the bugaboo but it seems quite difficult to assemble

I'd second the micralite superlight. It is really easy to push, fold and carry. It isn't suitable from birth though.

I was coming on to say we had an ICANDY APPLE and although it has a bar there is no way I could push it one handed - replaced it with a Mountain Buggy which is supremely awesome and just so incredibly easy to push - even with a weighty three year old (coincidentally has hemiplegic CP) it doesn't tip.

Only thing is the fold. Go try some out.

And congratulations!

I agree with the BJCMGT and the Versa apart from the carrycot mode for the latter (I am not sure if you need both hands to remove the carrycot). I think though I would consider a wedge if this is the only barrier.
Trying to think of truly one handed pushchairs is really tricky though! I can think of some which have one handed carrycots, or pushchair seat removal or fold, but there's something with them all that would stop me recommending them.
The new Babyzen YoYo 0+ is suitable from birth but you need two hands to put the handle up!
The Micralite could well be an option - the AirFlo carrycot has a one handed release although attaching it could be a little tricky. But its worth a look.
