iCandy...are they worth the money?

Dh and I are looking at the best pushchair for us. Originally I was very against forking out a fair bit of money on a pushchair but have sort of realised it'll be probably one of the things that get used the most and I should get what I pay for in the sense of it lasting. I did find the Joie pushchair in mothercare which is also on offer, but it has a plastic ochassis which looks compared to the iCandy a lot let sturdy. I like the look of the iCandy as it has a metal frame and they seem popular and easy to use. Are they worth spending that bit extra? The one thing that does put me off is all the extra costs of add onsHmm

I have to say MOST DEFINETLY, my peach is going to be four years old next month and its still going strong. I have used the stroller for my first child and then a double stroller when my second daughter arrived last year ane now I use it as a single and also a double when she gets a little lazy. Its a great pushchair and is still going strong four years later. I would recommend the peach to anyone, my friends cannot believe that I am still using the same one when they are on their second and even third pushchair in some cases. I cannot recommend this any more you will not be dissapointed.

My iCandy Apple lasted from 2008 through til just last week, two children. It's still in working order, just now has a tendency to collapse if you hit the front on a rock. It depends how much walking you do - I don't drive and cover miles every day lugging shopping around, so I considered it a good investment, but someone who only uses it occasionally around a nice flat floor might not. Excellent steering and handling and support and stuff. Couldn't fault it. I've heard the more recent models can have problematic wheels though.
