Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on this? I absolutely fell in love with it last week but to be honest it's the only one I have looked at so far! I am pregnant with my second but my first is 5 so I don't have to worry about a double or buggy board which is easier. I love that it is so easy to put up and down and it folds small so will easily fit in my boot, I looked at a Bugaboo in the same shop after some recommendations but I really didn't like it as it just seemed so low down!

Any thoughts would be appreciated, I'm not due until after Christmas so still have ages to decide. x

Yes I had one......

The Pros are that it folds with the seat on in either direction into a nice freestanding chunk. It has a lovely upright seat. Its easy to carry. There is a big hood. Good basket space. Nice handle.

The Cons are that its heavy for the size it is. The wheels are hard and the pattern on the wheels causes it to vibrate as you push it along. A minor niggle but there. I never quite got used to the shape of the seat widening towards the top - it looked unbalanced somehow. The biggest annoyance though is the recline. There is only a lie flat or an upright position. So nothing in between. Its a sudden drop as well if you aren't careful. There is no leg / calf rest for a sleeping child. My son was about 2 and a half when we last used it, and he still couldn't reach his feet onto the footrest to give him support. He looked terribly uncomfortable. I have seen others sell / not buy Scoots for the same reason. Plus when I tried to put him in or take him out asleep, its like reaching into a cave. There's no way past all the fabric and I used to wake him up every time. It annoyed me like mad because any other pushchair I could transfer him still asleep. But it was so hard to reach into the Scoot. I also didn't like how the handle hit the ground when folding and there's no autolock. In some ways it was a bit unwieldy.

In theory it was great and I still wonder if I should have kept it, but I certainly would never recommend one for a newborn because the lack of an in between recline for say a 6-12 month old would have driven me nutty.

Thank you for your reply it's really helpful, I definitely didn't think about the lack of recline and can see it being a problem if I used it from newborn which is a shame but I know that would drive me mad.

I had a SilverCross 3D with my son and that was a nightmare it was all just too much fuss to put together and it was so heavy!

I will have to look into other ones may have a look at the ICandy.

Thanks again!
