Quinny yezz vs Quicksmart vs Icandy vs umbrella for toddler twins

We faced a dilemma for 23 mth toddler twins. Our twins are walking but still getting used to long distances. Pushchairs are still needed. We dont drive & used tubes & rail when we were single. New problems. Can't use our Icandy pear at tube & rail stations with no lifts as its too heavy when both twins are in to lift down steep stairs & can't leave 1 twin at top & carry 1down & the puschair & believe me no-one rushes to assist you with a dbl pushchair.
Our solutions were taxis : but its too expensive as our family live out of town.
Harnesses: never thought I'd use but they ll run in 2 different directions otherwise. But they get tired of walking after short distances & carrying over 30 kilos of twins isn't easy.
Baby carrier: Bebo still comfortable but only for 1
Pushchairs: Icandy too heavy for stairs & end & middle stations aren't step free. Umbrella double is too wide for tubes & same problem with steep steps.
Bus: not practical for some long journeys
So quicksmart backpack vs quinny yezz considered ie foldable backpack pushchairs
Bought both to compare. Quinny looks very cool & folds in & out in seconds. This is essential as if 1 twins runs off, I can still grab the other twin , fold down the quinny & sling it over my shoulder or put twin2 in it & run after the other. Also if I travel on my own I can put 1 in the bebo carrier & just carry or put the other twin in the quinny.

The quicksmart takes alot longer to put together & the backpack one has to be put in its backpack to carry. It is however a lot cheaper new or 2ndhand than the quinny yezz. & shamefully I'd say, doesn't have the swagger of the yezz. Many compliments from mums on our yezz & easy opening.

Re tipping issues. I'd read quinny has a tipping issue which is why I bought 1 of each. You can't put heavy shopping bags on the yezz, there's no place for them above or below, deliberately I think as they do make it tip, with or without a baby. I wouldn't leave a baby unsupervised in it because Houdini babies (got one) , easily get out , so they may tip it when moving up & out. It's just for moving them A to B quickly.

Yezz can be moved with 1 hand whereas quicksmart needs to, which is handy for airports with carry on luggage.

You can't put a cars seats on either but after a year our maxi cosis stopped fitting on their pushchairs anyway . Hopefully when theyre older & heavier we can carry portable booster seats.

The twins fight to get on the yezz as they love how it rides. It's like a stripped down sportscar in terms of features. We are getting a 2nd yezz for my OH. He prefers the yezz. (Think on looks more, :-)). Ours isn't new but looks it. I think we'd get a year out of either of them now as the pushchair is low & our twins are getting tall. Bit pricey but also available 2nd hand. I can see why people using American metro /tube go crazy over this.
Hope my review assists.

Ps the quicksmart is also not for carrying shopping or it could tip.
Your other solution is babycarrier one & turn your double tandem into 1 like the Icandy but its still heavier than the yezz & quicksmart which are under 7 kilos

I have had a Yezz and it did tip backwards with my son sat in it really calmly. We have no idea to this day how it happened, but the best Dorel could offer as explanation was that they dont test pushchairs with children in them! I have read elsewhere of a Yezz tipping so regularly that the family can't let go of it. Thankfully my son's head hit wood, not concrete :(
Meanwhile a Yezz owned by a friend snapped.

Yes, they look cool - but IMHO they are downright dangerous.
