mountain buggy terrain or nipper 360?

I have a nearly 4,2 y/o and newborn on the way and have my eye on a nipper and a mb terrain on ebay.
I live in London but do a lot of walking around too. Don't use public transport that much but Will use a bus now and again. Will be buying a probably smallish car when I pass my test eventually!
I do go to the supermarket most days but for smaller shops.
So which do you think would suit better? The nipper would be the older which is 77cm wide I am guessing. Seller says the mountain buggy is 68 cm wide.
Thanks in advance

Oh and our family car is a bmw 360 so it needs to fit in there too.

hmm.. we have the nipper and absolutely love it. but, i feel it is quite big on buses, in shops, and getting in and out of cars. It goes in all these places - just i find, especially if going into town on bus, that i sometimes reach for the very small umbrella fold instead. just that you say london, and my perception is that it would always be very busy!

don't know about the mb sorry.

we have a rover 25 which is a medium sized car and it goes fine in the boot.

was very comfy for dd when she was small. not completely flat, but we used it increasingly from about 3 months onwards. only got it when she was 2 months. she has always napped in it really well.

it carries loads of stuff! esp if you get a buggy clip (massive carabiner thing) for shopping bags

Thankyou cupofchai. Still pondering here! It certainly is very busy here, especially going into town ect....
still not sure about the car bit but saying that we don't use the car much anyway atm unless for the odd family day trip and with winter on the way those Will subside even more!

I would worry about you getting the 77cm Nipper onto a bus and smaller shops. Its wider than many doorways. I think the Nipper is a nicer pushchair in some ways but your eldest is quite old and you may find they have their knees in their face in the Nipper. If you want a Nipper then look for the 72cms one.
Both of these could be problematic in a small car. Mountain Buggies have HUGE folds. Meanwhile because the 77cms Nipper is wide, it only just scraped into my car boot. I had the 72cms one which made all the difference. My boot was a good size too. But side by side pushchairs arent small folding!

Thanks tiggy.
I was really naughty and bought both off ebay. I Will have a go with both and sell one on! (while they Will be hidden away in the shed from dh !)
Dd1 rarely uses the buggy so it would be for dd2 and newborn with possible buggyboard?
I am thinking mb might be better with winter approaching though. I am worried about getting fixed wheels around a town though with it.
I eill come and report back when they get here.
I think the nipper looks a bit nicer though!

I would have got the narrower one but can't afford it right now and I think most on ebay would be 77cm?
Is the 72 wide the v3 model?

Some of the v2s are 72cm as well so you might be lucky. Given the number of places i couldn't get with my 67cm with the wheelguards off b dual I would be sunk with either. Grin

When you travel by bus it may be easier to carry the baby, if you can facilitate that? With 3 under 5 it may be that there is a period of relatively restricted travelling anyway? (Or possibly i'm just a wuss who couldn't be bothered with the hassle?!)

I hateparties, yes. Tbh my outings mistly consist of sainsburys by our few local shops, the park and maybe once a month or less actually into town but Tbh I usually walk as it is more hassle getting the bus!
I happily walk a few miles a day as I am used to it.
My mb came today actually. First impression. It looks nice and sturdy and comfortable but I still need to get used to the fixed wheels and is big folded down.hopefully nipper Will come tomorrow so I can compare them.
My neighbours think I am opening a buggy shop here!
