Need a pushchair like a Maclaren Quest - but that can be pushed with one hand

I currently have a Maclaren Quest which I love. It's so light, folds up small, has a carry strap so that you can sling it over your shoulder when on public transport.
The only thing I don't like about it is that I need both hands to push it. Is there anything out there that fits the bill? The moon on a stick?

Help me please!

Not exactly in the same price bracket but babyzen yoyo? There is one on eBay at the moment I think

I don't know if the weight is comparable, but the Baby Jogger City Mini and the Nuna Pepp both get very good reviews and can be pushed one handed.

Casual Play Livi?

Uppababy G-luxe? I'm thinking of getting one myself. Has v good reviews in the US & you can get the black one online for £95

G-luxe is 2 handled I think like the maclaren

Forgetfulmog · 28/07/2013 13:41

Yea it is but the reviews say it can be pushed with 1 hand

Casual play livi has a fab compact fold but if I were slinging it over a shoulder and walking with it I'd find 7.5kg too heavy. The quest is 6kg and I wouldn't go any higher than that weight wise for carrying in one shoulder. G luxe I'm not convinced would be any easier to push one handed than the maclaren. Petite star zia? (never tried one myself)

I've had a BJ city mini, it was really quite heavy and bulky, though the fold was quite clever. No carry strap, nor would I want to carry it any length of time.

I tried the Babyzen Yoyo at a shop in Westfield. Amazing to push even with my 18 kg boy in it. Damn shame the back of the seat is so short that it finished below his neck. In the Quest, he can sit comfortably with his head supported.
