Lie flat car seat- on bugaboo bee

I just wondered if anyone had tried this as a way of getting a carrycot option/ or portable option on the bugaboo bee.

Mainly a pram will be needed for constant travel. For he bee fits the bill. But I know babies should spend more than 1-2 hours max in a regular car seat. Hence looking at this option as will have some times when it's ideal to just move baby in seat in taxis, boats, and planes ( if compatible)

Have looked at:
The besafe izi sleep ( I thought these used maxi cosi adapters?) - firm favourite
Maxi cosi prezi
Jane transporter ( heavy!)
Jane matrix

I wouldnt do it TBH. The Bee is rickety and wobbly enough without putting an unapproved carrycot type option on top. Look at a pushchair to fit your chosen car seat instead.

I have the Jane transporter , its fantastic , yes its a little heavy but that's due to how well its constructed and how safe it is , my baby is almost 5 months and i still use it daily , also great for using in the house for naps etc.

Tiggy- surely if bugaboo sells maxi cosi adapters though for example then adding any maxi cosi car seat is adding something fit for purpose?

The bee is the buggy of choice as needs to fold in one piece, parent face, suitable from birth, suitable in hot conditions ( the shades), be suitable for both newborn and 2 year old interchangeably if needed, as well as a few other things.

The main thing is car seat . As an update I have tried the besafe izi sleep on the bee in a store ( with maxi cosi adapters), and it seems to fit well, easy to clip on and off, and isn't flimsy.

The pushchair has to pass stability and tipping tests when safety testing. Its fairly obvious that a lie flat car seat / carrycot wont have the same centre of balance as a regular car seat. The Bee never feels the most sturdy pushchair any way. Personally I wouldnt chance it. But its your baby, and your choice.
