Pushchairs in London

I will be visiting London in October with my 7 year old son and my daughter who will be 18 months old. My hubby will be at a conference during the day so I will be on my own with the kids. We have a Britax B-Ready stroller which is like your Britax B-Dual or an Uppababy Vista. I'm wondering how difficult it will be to maneuver through the city whether on the bus, in a cab, the tube or simply in the shops and museums.
Or are we best to bring an umbrella stroller? I prefer my Britax because my daughter can face me.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

You need the narrowest you have available (including narrow at wheelbase) or it'll be a total PITA on buses. Foldable is useful too - unless you have time to wait for a second or third bus to come along (driver can deny you boarding if in his/her opinion the bus is too crowded or already has pushchairs on). Also useful if the lifts are out on the Tube.

I haven't seen your exact buggy, but I think you'll be okay mat places with something the size of the uppababy vista. You might struggle with the tube, but the tube map has disabled badges where there is lift access. You can take them on the escalators, but it takes some practice! You might need to fold it on the bus if its busy so you might need to think about that.

Whatever you fancy. I dont use on tube but bugaboo cameleon in comparision fits great on buses and in taxis in London.

We use on busy streets, in museums, shops, parks..

I would take the one that's comfiest to sleep in. You can easily travel past say Hyde park, science museum, Harrods, past trafalger square and get off near covent garden transport museum all on one bus.
