Parent Facing Pushchair

was wondering if you guys knew of any parent facing pushchairs that were under £200 that are any good?

I have looked at quite a few, but any that I have seen that are the price, are not great.

Oh and I own a Micra so not a huge boot!

What specifically would make it good for you, what other aspects - size, type of wheels, style etc?

That it would fit in my boot, that its under £200. I would prefer a 4 wheel. The colour is not an issue, as long as not for a girl!

Anything else Im quite flexible, it just has to be parent facing.

In your position I'd see if I could get a second hand cameleon or bee or frog. I think you'd get a better pushchair for that money if you buy second hand.

Or a second hand iCandy. I got a decent cherry second hand although it's not tiny folded, you might be better off with a bee. Pre 2009 ones go for v reasonable prices on eBay & gum tree.

A second hand bee would be a really good option I think, as long as you can view locally and make sure it's not really really used so going to need expensive spare parts.
I had a gecko, if you got that style, frog or cam etc. you would be taking wheels off for your boot or they may squeeze in with the parcel shelf off.

A maxi cosi loola would fit without taking apart, the new one is 300 though though and the old one has a lot of very mixed reviews. I have seen the new one though and imo it looks a lot better but haven't used one to really know if that's the case.

A njoy petite star bubble might fit but equally might be too long.

The jane muum may fit, again without the parcel shelf but it's slightly over the 200.

A second hand oyster is usually v good value and they're pretty compact too.

I suppose overall if you're considering second hand then you shouldn't have a problem, if you're wanting new it's a bit harder. I keep looking at the ladybird reba, the reviews are largely positive. There is also the kiddicare imax, masses of positive reviews on that too.

I love my njoy bubble. It's not massively small though but in budget. Look at nursery value I got mine quite cheap.

Fleetwoodbigmac · 25/06/2013 21:56

Second the bubble recommendation, really love mine too

I've got a Mammas and Pappas Urbo which can be parent or forward facing. It's from birth and I always use it parent facing. It's fab - you can steer it with one hand and its nice and compact. I got it from a Mammas and Pappas outlet for about £150. Hth
