Just out of interest really...

Chicco trio for me travel system first, cheap for a ts and light. Disliked it as felt rickety once carrycot option outgrown but great in the first few months.

Moved on to britax b mobile. Chosen as the seat seemed most 'out there' as Ds hated being out of the action. V.light. Not overly expensive as second push chair.

Finally city mini double when ds2 came. Light, easy to steer easy to push and fold, could put carrycot on for new born. reasonable price as bought second hand. Side by side as wanted both to see and ds1 very tall so struggled to fit in tandems. Still narrow enough to fit through doorways. LOVE IT.

If I was starting again I'd have bout the city mini single straight off. True what they say, buy cheap buy twice.

I think on this section of mumsnet the answer to that for most people will be too long to type. Many pushchair addicts here who have bought many pushchairs for different reasons. My fave ever is my cam3 and I bought it because it's wonderful, comfortable and easy to push and comfortable for DS, lovely for naps, suits a variety of terrains, can fit on buses, just about fits in our car though we have to remove wheels.

BJCE - wanted a pushchair that was an easy fold, adjustable handlebar (DH is a whole head and shoulders taller than me!), compact when folded, good wheels for nice country walks etc, big seat so it would have longevity, had carrycot and ability to put carseat on. Absolutely love it. If we were less outdoorsy would have gone for a BJCM. The BJCE has been fab - love pushing it!

Then bought a cheap M&P Tempo off Gumtree for £25 for the buggy shed at nursery. Never enjoyed pushing it but it did the job and was practical for our need, so sold it for the same price I bought it for when I wanted something with a bigger basket for holiday!

Then bought a Babystart Ria for £25 when on sale at Argos. Was perfect for a holiday that didn't involve much off-roading as was v light weight with a huge basket and relatively big seat. Use it now for the nursery run and buggy shed. Practical and nippy, but yes, a bit flimsy.

Britax b-agile.

1 hand fold like BJCM (easy for getting on bus)

Width (can easily get on most buses)

1 handed push (so I can hold dd1's hand and push)

Price (second buggy after travel system so didn't want to spend a vast amount)

Storage (good size basket and back of seat pocket)

Good Which reviews for stability/handling/quality

Warranty for 2 years

Extras a reasonable price

Current strollers:

ABC Quad Buggy - Will have 4 under 15mo by end of year and need something big enough and would be great for off-road walks. Only reason.

Bugaboo Donkey - Loved the handling, great seats/carrycot option, plus heard a lot of good reviews and DH really wanted it.

Cosatto Supalite - Bought simply for DD to use as my YOYO was stolen.

Mycrolite - DH bought at Carboot. Haven't used it yet.

Combi Sport twin - DH bought at Carboot. Haven't used it yet.

Uppababy Vista: HUGE basket; higher-than-most seat; parent facing option; bassinet (included) can double as a Moses basket; brilliant sun visor; robust yet easy to push; manoeuvres one-handed; easy fold; fits into the tiny boot of our VW Polo.

And the black-on-black looks classy. Grin

thanks for your responses, very interested to see that the baby jogger was popular (its what we're going for) just seemed weird to us as we rarely see any

I have had sooo many but my two favourite a have been the britax agile because it's just very practical and now I'm on the nuna pepp because I have lots of children and needed a pram that could do from newborn to toddler and take up no space in the car.
