Quinny yezz anyone?

just wondering if anyone has any views on this. Will mostly be for use around town and to transport my one year old from the car to the house (don't have off road parking and need to park a little walk away from the house at times) I am also pregnant so like how lightweight it is and that it has a single handle so I can push it with one hand as I currently go round in circles with my silver cross buggy if I try that! Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom

Absolutely not!!!

I loved how easy it was to push, the fold, how you could carry it on your back, how neat it was in the car etc BUT all this pales into insignificance when the Yezz can suddenly tip over backwards with a calm quiet child in it with just a thin piece of fabric between them and the hard floor.
Thank goodness it wasn't concrete or tarmac, but the cries were bad enough.

Dorel's response was that they dont test pushchairs with children in!
I am not the only one to have had this issue. Someone linked me to a Blog the other day where the parents dare not take their hands off the Yezz because theirs too has tipped several times.

Oh no, thanks for letting me know that. It looks fab on paper but not many places sell them, I wonder if that is why.

Can you recommend any alternatives? I have a silver cross zest so would want something more compact and lighter than that, ideally with a single handle.

I thought the Yezz was fab until this happened to us....

I would suggest a Maxi Cosi Noa (no problem one handed), a Babyzen YoYo, a Babyhome Emotion Xtreet, or maybe a Baby Jogger City Mini if thats not too big.

Maybe one of these? They're not here yet though I don't think. I have a now 3 year old xtreet that remains my most used pushchair, love it even though it's definitely getting a bit tired now :-(

Thanks everyone, I like the look of the noa and think it might fit my needs. ihateparties that buggy looks great but I kind of need it now, the carry handle and folded size look fab. Now to find somewhere that stocks the noa so I can have a play with it :)

You wont know until you try - but I wouldnt be prepared to put my child at risk in something so unstable TBH. Not without anything between their head and the floor if it tipped. Most pushchairs have a frame and / or a board between the child and the floor.

Thanks, I went for the noa in the end. I love the compact fold on it, even in my tiny car there is loads of room left. Its ideal for what I want it for, Thanks for the recommendation!
