Chicco Trio CT 0.1 carrycot

This is a real long shot but if anyone's got any ideas I'd be really grateful. I have a Chicco Trio from 2006 - the carrycot is in perfect condition cos it was barely used so I really don't want to buy another one. It has a click system and clicks easily onto the handles of the frame. Only thing is that it seems to be sloping down so that the baby would be lying with his head lower than his feet. I've been online, found old instructions but still nothing to suggest that I've done something wrong. Only thing I can think is maybe the handles have lowered a bit over time when it was used as a pushchair.

If anyone's had something similar, even with another brand I'd love to hear how you resolved it.

Thanks.

I had a Chicco Trio in 2004, mine had a wheel underneath the carrycot which raised the mattress up (brilliant don't know why more don't) could you do this to counteract the lean?
Can't think what it could be as the click clack system is so easy to use.

Thanks for replying. Yeah, mine has got that too and I could use it but it would mean that it would create a kind of v shape rather being flat. I know, it is easy to use but it's a total mystery - I've had it upside down, on its side and everything to try and work it out.

Ah I see, the lean is quite significant then.
I remember mine slanting slightly when empty as the hood end is obviously heavier but it was ok when DS1 was in it. Have you tried contacting Chicco?

Oh that's a point - maybe it would just naturally go back to straight with his weight in it, if I put him more towards the bottom end. Will give it a try with something that weighs the same as a baby! Thanks!

Fingers crossed, I have a great image of you eyeing up potential baby household objects!
