P&T (2nd Hand) or a City Mini Double

Hi

I am having DC2 in 6 weeks, DC1 will be 22 months, he is small for his age and a right handful so I will def. be getting a double as he wont walk too far.

I am considering a Phil & Ted which I would get 2nd hand (not sure which one)
Or a new City Mini Double, which I would hope to sell on after.

I already have a Bugaboo Bee and I was planning to keep this to use when I only need one pram.

I am unlikely to use public transport on my own with the double, so I am looking for something to use for shopping and longer walks when I am on my own with the 2 children so give DC1 the option for a comfy seat after a short walk, and I was looking to use it from newborn.

Im not bothered about keeping it to use as a single after as I`ll have the Bee for that when DC1 gets better at walking.

I would like it to be as easy to manouver and light as possible as I am not strong, and fit into my boot in a Punto.

Has anyone tried these two and could give me a heads up?

I have only heard that the City Mini Double can be too wide to go through doors.

I think if you need a lighter pushchair that a City Mini Double would be better. The Phil&Teds tend to be on the heavy side, and given you are saving your Bee as well, you may as well have a proper double. The City Mini should easily fit through doors TBH. Its not that wide for a double. But it depends where you go. All doubles are a fair chunk to lift into a car and you will notice it after having had a Bee.

Cheers tiggy.

I was in a flat first time (hence the bee!) so it shouldn't be too bad I hope..

I was thinking the same too thanks for helping!
