2nd pushchair advice

So I managed to get a lovely big pram for walking, picked up the Babystyle Lux for £55 including all accessories second hand obviously but it is gorgeous!

This will be as started my main walking pram but as I use taxis and travel by train/bus sometimes I will need something smaller for use on these days.

I will also be returning to work when LO is around 9 months so will be good for that.

essentially the second pushchair may end up being used more during the week by the time I go back to work so I have a few questions.

Should I get forward or rear facing?
As a non driver would a small travel system be handy?

I am considering the njoy bubble, b-agile, city mini 4, streety plus

Any recommendations?

Definitely the Baby Jogger City Mini :)

I have the maclaren triumph it's very light to carry, folds with one hand and has a strap to carry it on public transport. Fab buggy

thanks :)

I loved my city mini with DS although never got it until he was almost 3! Think I would definitely go for the 4 wheel version though and preferably 2nd hand as it is cheaper.

I got a Maclaren last time and really hated it! It was an XT but just couldn't get on with it so that had put me of and tbh that experience puts me off the njoy too with it being an umbrella fold.

ooh, good, glad you asked this!

I'm after the same thing - we've got a buggy that no longer closes up thanks to difficulties getting on and off trains 13 time in two days (i counted)
(it would have been 14, but the last time it wouldn't fold up at all)

I need something cheap, easy to fold and that will last until she starts walking.
:)

A baby jogger city mini, they're cheap, easy to fold and will make you weep with the sheer awesomeness of them (I luffs mine).

I can't get city mini up the kerb! I am v attached to my zapp extra - its dab I upgraded from a regular zapp to get recline and rear facing. It's my favourite buggy yet for the car and short trips or cafes where's there's not much room. Dd c attached to it too Grin

I've heard good things about the Bubble, but I would really REALLY recommend the Zia4+! I have one and its great - really lightweight and reasonably priced (it's on offer at the moment for £90, which is way better than I paid for it!) Its easy to open one handed, which is great when you have baby in your arms. Its car seat compatible also. I'd look into it, as its cheaper than the others you mentioned.
