Already have a silver cross pop but am looking at 2nd hand triumphs.

What does everyone recommend?

I (or rather the kids) have a triumph. It has been a great buggy and was my buggy of choice when doing the school run with age 2/3 DS as it is so light. I can sling it over my shoulder, carry a toddler and changing bag and walk onto a bus easily while holding another kid's hand. The downsides are that although it has a recline it doesn't go back very far. I also don't like Maclaren raincovers as I think they are rather close to the kid's face and are also prone to ripping. No experience of the silver cross I'm afraid.

Sorry to hijack but I was just about to start a thread with this very topic! I'm trying to decide between the Pop and the Triumph. Need a lightweight stroller for holiday in a few weeks. Would be great to hear from anyone who has used both pushchairs and can recommend one or the other. Thanks!

Main criteria is that it reclines flat - I thought the Triumph did that but just noticed that yours doesn't, cloutiedumpling. Might be back to the drawing board then!

I've just had a quick look at the pop online. I think they are quite different buggies. The pop is suitable from birth as it reclines fully and is also a great price. It is also quite heavy. The triumph doesn't recline terribly far and so is only suitable from 6 months but is very light. I think the Maclaren Quest is maybe more similar to the pop. I have it too and used it when DS2 was 4 months plus as it does recline quite far and also has a leg rest for babies when they are sleeping. It is also a bit heavier than the triumph. Which will suit you best will depend on what you want it for.

I just want mine for holiday (when DD will be six months) and it will then be kept at my parents' house for when we visit. Will have a look at the ones suggested. Thanks for the guidance!
