Instep nipper double buggy, anyone used one?

I'm after a 2nd hand double buggy and someone is selling the old version of the now 360 out n about nipper. Basically the front wheel is fixed, does not swivel at all.
Anyone ever had one of these or used one? I'm after the buggy for my 6month old and 2.5 yr old so I can walk the dog and my 3yr old at the same time. Just wondered if this particularly buggy would be suitable for this bearing in mind il need to steer basically one handed which I can't see being too easy a job with no swivel on front wheel! Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks x

I had one with the fixed wheel and it was great. I didn't walk a dog at the same time but found it really light and easy to steer. It has a brake handle like a bike which is useful. I would think that if you are going on any rough ground the swivel wheel would be a hinderance rather than a help.

I took it into town on the bus and it fitted through most shop doorways. Can you try the one you are looking at?

I have one that I bought for the odd times I didn't sling one and push the other in the single buggy. It is fine, and do-able one handed, but nowhere near as easy as the newer swivel wheel version. If it's a really good price I'd go for it (I paid £50 cash on collection, including 2x Out n About footmuffs) but otherwise I think I'd find the extra cash for the swivel wheel version.

If you're anywhere near South East London and can pick up mine you can have it for nothing....I need it out of the way now and was going to list it free to collect.

I prefer a swivel wheel partic if steering one handed. Best bet is to road test one if you can.

That's what I use. It's brilliant, utterly marvellous as it has so much storage on it too. I cm so often have 18 month olds in it together, or an 18 month old and a 3yr old - it seems to make no difference to how it pushes even if there are children of vastly different weights on either side. I can use it one handed and hold another child's hand. I can push it and hold the dog lead too, or I use a fixed short lead and loop it round the handle if I have a child's hand to hold as well.
I picked mine up second hand with footmuffs for £60 and am very happy with it. Just trying to find a raincover for it that's not extortionately priced.
