Which are your favourite/least favourite?

My List

Best
Mothercare Spin - I love mine Grin When my 16 month old falls asleep, I can turn the seat back into a carry cot while he is wearing the safety belt in order for him to sleep lying flat :)
Icandy Strawberry - Just one awesome pushchair :)
All Baby Joggers - Baby Jogger sure do know the recipe for making great strollers and at fair prices too :)

Worst
Bugaboo Bee - It is so low down Shock The child inside must think the adult pushing it is a giant!
Bugaboo Cameleon - Nice enough, just can't justify spending £800 for it.
Phil and Teds - Not enough options for my liking, what you see is what you get except for the poor child hidden underneath.
Stokke Xplory - Lack of suspension.
Quinny Buzz - Why does everyone like this pushchair?!?

Hmmm

Best
Bug Gecko - really suited my terrain, so easy to push, great with buggyboard, pretty compact. Harness useless, had to abandon due to persistent escapee occupant.
Babyhome xtreet - rattly noisy little piece of brilliance. >6kg, bar handle, 47cm wide, easy fold. If they put decent wheels on it I literally would never need anything else, this is the only pushchair that I can be certain will never leave my house.
iCandy Peach Blossom - beautiful push and big basket. PB1 double kit limited use but it was nice while it lasted, also a true single.
Jane Twone - brilliant push combined with lots of questionable stuff, that child hiding underneath not least but it works for me.
Smyths Toys Dimples Duo - brilliant seating positions, quite easy to push with toddler in lower seat, both children have space and the ability to recline independently without interfering with eachother. Someone needs to replicate this but higher quality!

Worst
Hauck Malibu - wanted to like it but the wheels weren't round.. bit of an issue

By far my biggest list is all the things that were just Meh...

Marking my place

LOVE
BJCM city* mini- lightweight, miracle fold, no faff, just a beauty in itself! i can push a baby in it or a 5yr old and it will easily steer with just one finger (no, really- that's how fab it is!)

volo mega light, narrow for nursery or quick shop run, i love macs

HATE
Buzz ugh...don't even get me stated on this monsterosity! wide, awkward, stupid fold, massive FOLD, bulky wheels, impossible to fit in boot, just horrid.

I look forward to reading liswee and Tiggywunkle lists :)

How long have you got????!!!!!

tara0202 · 29/07/2012 13:04

I've only ever had and used my bug chameleon. I'm on my second baby with it. I love it, never needed to get another so its been well worth the money for me!

HypatiaTheProcrastinator · 29/07/2012 14:10

Best
Joolz Day
Bugaboo Gecko
Britax B-Mobile
Bugaboo Bee+
Britax B-Dual
Silver Cross Halo

Worst
M&P Pliko Pramette
Quinny Zapp
Maclaren Twin Techno
Quinny Buzz
M&P 03 Sport fixed wheel
Urban Detour

My ultimate pushchair would be a cross between a Joolz Day and a Bee+, so in theory an Easywalker June or maybe a Baby Jogger Versa GT except it's not pretty enough.

milk · 29/07/2012 14:52

HypatiaTheProcrastinator, I partially disagree:

Quinny Zapp with Maxi Cosi car seat= Very useful! Grin
Quinny Zapp with seat= useless!!! No recline!!! Very flimsy!!! Angry

Loved my silver cross sleepover- maybe a bit old fashioned but DD was so comfortable and it was just lovely to push. Also she could face me at age 3 which she (and I) loved

Hated M & P one- admittedly it was cheap! I think it was a Kato? No support and horrible to push

Tiggywunkle · 29/07/2012 22:19

I wrote a huge reply but have just deleted it because as I wrote I remembered more and more great pushchairs as well as some truly terrible ones - in particular the incomplete ones or those that fell apart....

HypatiaTheProcrastinator · 29/07/2012 23:07

I wouldn't even want a Zapp to use for a carseat! Grin They're so rickety and loud and don't like teeny dips or going down kerbs. And the handles are too low (I'm only 5'4") and the shoulder straps started above my daughter's head when she was 7/8 months. The only upside was the fold. I literally didn't like a single other thing about it!
