Buying buggies is a serious minefield! I bought a Mountain Buggy Duet about 6 months ago, and whilst I love it, I don't use it as often as the price tag justifies, and we don't have the space to store it. My nearly 3yo now doesn't nap any more so she can walk! So I need a buggy for my 10mo, but something I can add a buggy board to (or something!) Any suggestions?

Having had 4 other buggies this new one should: fold up small, preferably without dismantling; have a one piece handle (so I can push with one hand); decent size shopping basket; larger wheels.

Does it exist? I thought that having 4-buggy experience, picking a new one would be a breeze, but sadly not! Thanks in anticipation.

My friend has got a strolli instead of a buggyboard and I liked the look of it and if I was to do it all again I would try one of those! Can't help on the pushchair front though! I have a large mamas and papas, a phil and ted, a maclaren, and an urban detour - none of which fit your requirements!

Thanks, Lori.
I have a Maclaren too - and really like it - but it won't take a buggy board very well.
Off to investigate what a strolli is...

A strollerider is a good idea but the handles are low so it's best if the child can hold part of the pushchair. The bucket seat ones are the best. But these are no longer made so it would be an EBay hunt. I don't like buggyboards because I don't like not walking naturally plus they place drag on the pushchair but if I were to try anything, I would look for a pushchair with a rotating handle so the child fits between the handle and seated child. Eg a Mutsy Evo, Baby Jogger Elite etc. The Babystyle Oyster is meant to work well with its buggy board too. I prefer a pushchair like the Mountain Buggy +One or TFK Joggster Twist with buddy seat so the toddler can walk but hop into a seat when tired.
