I am soon looking to sell my double and go back to a single. What is the best single coming out soon. I need lightweight, small for going around London, but can handle a big one year old who still naps.

what is everyone else wanting to get?

Babyzen Yoyo looks good :)

liswee · 26/07/2012 16:14

Ooh I love buggy shopping! Grin
I'm looking forward to getting my BabyZen YoYo and Baby Jogger Versa GT (don't tell the DH Wink).
Not sure what I would suggest for your London life though.
What double do you have?

liswee · 26/07/2012 16:15

The Easywalker June also looks interesting - but I may be pushing my luck with that one!

cheapandchic · 27/07/2012 08:46

does the yo yo recline??

OP posts:
milk · 27/07/2012 09:44

"has a 140 degree recline"

HypatiaTheProcrastinator · 27/07/2012 23:37

The June would be my vote!

Tiggywunkle · 28/07/2012 00:28

Easywalker June, Baby Jogger Versa, Bugaboo Bee or Uppababy Cruz. Although I am not sure lightweight describes all those....!

milk · 28/07/2012 07:35

Do not get the Bee!!! I had it for less than a week and hated it!!!

I love Baby Joggers :) They are lovely!

newbiebaby · 28/07/2012 09:07

Sorry to hijack but Milk, why did you hate Bee? I'm obsessed Blush with getting one for DS due in nov, am I making a mistake??

zgaze · 28/07/2012 09:22

No one ever seems to recommend the Nuna Pepp on here but I adore mine. It does equally well for my 7 month old and my nearly 3 year old, folds easily and small, light and easy to carry, lovely to steer even one handed. I'm in London too and can easily carry it down tube stairs etc with toddler in it. I have the old version which is only a semi-recline but I believe the new version reclines flatter.

HypatiaTheProcrastinator · 28/07/2012 10:16

I think people do recommend Nunas, but it's not a good all rounder, more a car pushchair or for use in fairly smooth cities/towns.

newbie, I've always had a very low opinion of the Bee+ and would never expect to buy one. I thought it was too low to the ground, spindly, off proportion (I still think this a bit), rickety, had rubbish small wheels and the wheel issues put me off. However, I recently spent a crazy amount on an all black one and it's surprised me so much! It's a nice smooth push and the suspension and wheel shape make it actually quite good on a bit of rough ground. I find it a bit veery when fully reclined with my 22 month old 23lb ish daughter in though. It's also heavy up kerbs like this. I don't like that the peddle to open it is under the seat so hard to get to. But in general, it's a very nice pushchair in my opinion.

milk · 28/07/2012 19:34

newbiebaby, it is a nice pushchair (although strangely low down), but considering how much money it costs (approx £475), there are certainly better pushchairs out there for that price!

newbiebaby · 28/07/2012 20:40

Thanks for your replies...still can't look at anything other than bee.....need to get it out of my system i thinkBlush!

milk · 29/07/2012 05:59

newbiebaby- if you like it, then get it :) You say tomato, I say tomato :P

newbiebaby · 29/07/2012 09:07

Thanks milk! I've sold my quinny buzz to pay for it, can't wait to buy now!Smile

milk · 29/07/2012 09:09

The Bugaboo Bee is definitely better than the Quinny Buzz :)

HypatiaTheProcrastinator · 29/07/2012 12:11

I'm obsessed with having a rear facing fold which is why I bought the Bee as it's also a compact fold. At the moment I have a Bee, Vista, Joolz Day and a Jané Rider coming next week as singles. My sister has an Oyster which also folds rear facing but the push is a bit heavy for me because I've been spoilt with the ones I have. So to me, the Bee is worth the expense to be able to fold without turning the seat and it leaves loads of room in the boot of my Mum's car which she likes to fill with all sorts or random things.

There are loads of good deals on Bees at the moment. Kiddisave tend to be the cheapest though. The silver chassis is £367 with a pink or black hood and the black chassis is £427.50 using the code baby10. The resale value is very high on them, especially the all black.

BikeRunSki · 29/07/2012 12:16

Anything is better than a Quinny Buzz.

Tiggywunkle · 29/07/2012 12:48

I need a 'like' button although I wouldn't say anything was better than a Buzz...but nearly ;)

I have a Bee and it's definitely not my favourite pushchair to push - it feels too light and flimsy, it struggles on slopes and cambers (one wheel off the ground or veering), it is a pain to change the seat round and open rear facing. But the fold is so neat and smooth and it does fold rear facing and that's why I like and use it. That and the seat is huge. I think there are nicer pushchairs though for young babies.

cheapandchic · 31/07/2012 09:31

I actually have the bee and adore it! But this may be my last baby and I fancy selling the bee and the double for something new.

Its not because I don't love the bee...just because I am a shop a holic and fancy something new before I don't ever need a buggy again.

The yo yo looks pretty good I must say. The uppa baby looks good too. hmmm
