Pushchair that adapts to Maxi Cosi car seat

I want a pram/pushchair that adapts to take a Maxi Cosi Car seat. I had the Quinny Buzz with my first child but found it too difficult to fold up and far too clumsy. I would like something lighter that folds up smaller - on a tight budget. Any suggestions?

I use a maxi cosi with a Baby jogger city mini pushchair, you just need the right adaptors. It works well.

The quinny zapp, much smaller & cheaper,
mutsy evo? Cheaper if you just buy the frame.

I use the maxi cosi with my bugaboo cameleon. Just need adaptors.

Beverly comfort streets takes the maxi cosi with the adaptors they come with the buggy. Also folds small. Tiny actually if you take the seat unit off. And can be patent or forward facing.

If you don't need it straight away, I'd go with the Quinny Zapp Xtra with fold-able seat :)

If you do need it straight away, I vote BJCM.

Uppa baby vista takes the maxi cosi car seats and the adaptors come with it so you don't have to fork out for the separately.

Isn't the Uppa baby vista quite large?

and expensive at £569.00

Phil & Teds Smart Buggy takes a Maxi Cosi Car seat.

Babystyle Oyster takes Maxi Cosi. Very easy fold and super easy to steer.

Also look at a Micralite Superlite or Bugaboo Bee (second hand, probably 09 model to get a cheap one).

Unless they have also changed the seat adaptors, dont ever use a Quinny Zapp Xtra for both the seat unit and car seat at the same time. The seat adaptors are far too easily lost (they need removing to put the car seat adaptors on) and are relatively expensive to replace. For the same price as two tiny adaptors you can pick up a second hand old Zapp, strip the fabric off and use it for the car seat (should you be interested in it as an option!). We did this with our baby, but later swapped to the BJCM which was a complete relief after the horrible fold of the Zapp (new ones are very stiff to fold).

I really love our Quinny Zapp Xtra but know it's not everyone's cup of tea. The adaptors, and pushchair live in our car boot when not in use. Only issue with maxicosi on light 3 wheelers is that you have to use both hands to push - bit top heavy so can tilt. Probably some v good deals on 2011 models at the moment
