Mutsy 4Rider advice needed - converting from a single to a double.

I'm expecting DC2 in Oct. DD will be about 23 months old when sibling arrives. DH is 6'6" tall so the Mutsy has been wonderful as he doesn't have to stoop. We are generally very happy with our Mutsy. (Shame about the ghastly name.)

Consequently, I am wondering about the "duo" seat. I've read some fairly bad reviews about it, but I can't even find out (on the mutsy website) if the Duo seat even fits my 4Rider chassis.

Please do let me know if (a) if it actually does work with the 4Rider chassis and (b) you have one you've "converted" to a double successfully.

Many thanks in advance.

Honestly honestly, dont get it!
The seats are two stiff boards. My two were barely comfortable on them. It felt so precarious that I wouldn't let my eldest (under the weight limit) get into the front seat without me there). I would in no shape or form like to put a baby into the rear seat. My youngest was a year old which was fine - there was enough recline on the seat - but it wasn't comfy and we only used it for short outings. It was great for what we used it for ie quick outings to the shop and was fun on the bouncy Urban rider chassis, but I wouldn't have it as my only double pushchair, and couldn't consider it for a young baby.

Thanks Tiggywunkle. Backs up the reviews I'd heard. Think I'll stick to either my toddler walking or using a sling! I appreciate your honesty.

If you had 2 year old twins and an urban rider chassis, and wanted to go off road, then I would say go for it. I had fun with mine but I could never consider it seriously as a double pushchair and especially not for a young baby or for any longer than say 30-60 mins for a toddler. I was incredulous at the non existent padding in the stiff board seats!

BTW I know there is the newborn insert thingy but I still wouldn't consider it.
