Does anyone know if the Britax hard carrycot can be used for overnight sleeping?

For 4 nights.... With dd's moses basket mattress (if it fits).

Going to centreparcs on Monday, got a britax b dual which takes up 2/3 of our boot... really cant fit a moses basket in there too. ds will be using the travel cot.

TIA :)

There's usually a cot in the cupboard in a centerparcs villa. I don't know the answer to your question but I can't see why not as long as the baby can lie flat - we'll be using our oyster carrycot as an overnight bed when we go away.

According to Kiddicare it's not recommended.

There's no specific British regulations re use of a carrycot for overnight sleeping but there are recommendations re height between the mattress and top of the carrycot which seem more important than the actual mattress. However the companies I know who do say their carrycots are ok, do seem, to have well ventilated mattresses and hard bases. But it's a very grey area TBH and one I wish would be clarified.

great thanks for the advice :) Might give Britax a ring, as it would be good to know if I can leave dd in the pram overnight in case she falls asleep when we go for a walk in the evening. Will put her down in the cot at othertimes though :)

I'm sure you can't due to ventilation but Britax are on Twitter and Facebook as Babyonboard and answer question really quickly.
