Pushchairs

Well, just as I achieve pushchair nirvana with my bjcm/summit combo, guess what, I'm going to need a double
I'm currently in denial about the tiny age gap (16 months), and convinced myself initially I could stick with what I've got and sling the LO, but her Royal Tiggy-ness has convinced me that I'm going to need a double...
So...
Obvious choice is a bjcm double for the car. I have a 20111 bjcm single, and a 2011 or 10 Summit. Is there a carry cot which would fit all of these? Which year double would I need?
I'm not convinced I'm going to be able to find a double which will cope with our terrain? Are there any? Any which would take the same carrycot as above?
Oh, and really bargain basement budget this time!

Lolol don't blame me!! You can certainly sling the baby if you wish and push the eldest :o
Re the BJCMD - you need a 2011 or older - look for two completely seperate hoods. The old ones are seperate ie can be used independently, but they are attached to one bar. It's definitely worth asking for a photo if you aren't sure. The 2011 also has the sit upright straps and PE boards in the rear of the seats.
The BJCM single and double and the Summit will all take the Compact carrycot. The singles will take other carrycots but not the double.
I think the Elite double would have a good attempt at rough terrain but it won't take a carrycot. A petite Zia or Graco soft cot would fit in them all. I gave you some other suggestions :o

Oh wow, congratulations! :o
I'd get a Baby Jogger City Series or Classic double to try. They're not as offroady as the Summit but much better than a BJCMD and without the cost of a double Elite. Maybe the double Air Buggy Mimi would work. Tiggy's had one but I can't remember much about it except they're really cheap second hand.

The Air Buggy Mimi was great but small wheels. I never thought but a Nipper may well suit you too. It was an absolute breeze across the beach with two heavy ones in the seat.

Thank you all!
I guess I was hoping I could pare it down to the bare minimum - town and country singles (as it will just be me and lo for 3 days a week), town double buggy, and a carrycot to fit them all (which will also do for overnight sleeping). Hmmm, I think I want too much.
I will look at your suggestions, plus the ones Tiggy gave me earlier. Expect more questions!
