Should I trade my Cameleon for an Oyster?

Just that really- DD is only 3 weeks old, but once she's out of the carrycot, I could do with a buggy which folds smaller than the Cameleon yet does everything it does... is that the Oyster?

We don't drive but live in a flat where space is at a premium.

Which is better?

I would trade it for a bee plus to be honest. Far better imo and a better resale value when you decide to sell.

Thanks going, but I'm not keen on bees at all; shopping trolley wheels plus a 6'4" DP make it a no-no.

No, I wouldn't. I still miss my Cameleon.
Have a look instead at the Baby Jogger City Versa or Easywalker June. Both are due out in the next few months, both fold small with the seat on in either direction and both seem to have arge seats, god baskets etc. They both should store easily. The Mutsy Evo folds really small in two pieces too, as does the Oyster. But I really not like the seating position for toddlers in the Oyster, nor the hood. But the Oyster is very good - but I think the others are better IMHO. Look at the iCandy Cherry too.
But TBH the Cameleon, especially with the large wheels and bumper bar off, has one of the flattest folds there is. So I guess it depends on the shape of your storage space!! The Cam is one of only a handful of pushchairs that fits under my convertible car roof - a Petite Zia doesn't even fit!

Thanks Tiggy- hmm, now I'm not sure... I wanted something which folds without having to remove and store the seat unit separately IYSWIM... but perhaps you're right and I should stick with the Cameleon; some of those others look a bit flimsy in comparison.

I don't think there'll be anything flimsy about the Versa or June!

Really? The wheels look a bit plasticy and the frame insubstantial- is that not the case IRL? What's the suspension on them like?

No, both the Versa and June are solid...the latter in particular is extremely well made. I think the Cameleon and Oyster are both far more plasticy and insubstantial. Much as I love the Cameleon its one of the more insubstantial feeling chassis' I have tried. Its got give in it and it was bliss to move to something more solid feeling!!
The Mutsy Evo, Oyster, Easywalker June and Versa all fold as one piece. I was just making the suggestion that you could have two pieces if it made the size smaller for you.
