City Mini with buggy board

Has anyone succesfully used a buggy board with the bjcm? I'm wondering if the lascal maxi will stick out far enough or if my dd will be hitting her head on the handle. There's also their own new glider board, but the only review I can find of it is not great. Thanks for your help.

I have a Bumprider here to try on the BJCM. I will try and get it on tomorrow or Wednesday and see how we get on.

That will be fantastic, thank you Tiggy. I look forward to hearing about it.

Any luck with the Bumprider yet? I met a Dad at the weekend with a Lascal maxi on his. He said its kind of ok. His dd has to stick her head through infront of the handle and hold the top of the fabric, so better than nothing but not ideal.

Yes...we tried the Bumprider at long last the other day. My DD couldn't get her head through the gap - she tried bless her!! She had to stand the other side which was kind of annoying because she held the handle and wanted to lean right back which I could feel in the pushability. It clipped on really easy - we were up and running in a minute or so with no instructions. I also didn't extend the Bumprider to its maximum - we had the arms set at the shortest of 3 lengths. It worked fine IYKWIM - DD didn't fall off, the Bumprider attached well, we could drop off a small kerb well (we couldn't go up one without DD getting off) - but I am not a buggy board fan and it was a relief for me personally to go back to a tandem! I find pushchairs with buggy boards on "drag" with the weight on the rear and are heavy to push.
So, I am being positive about the actual Bumprider because it did work well, and easily fitted and undid. Its definitely worth a go if you want a buggy board.

Thank you very much for your description. I may give it a go.
