Graco Signature Series 3-in-1 Modular Stroller

We're being offered one of these (including car seat I think) by one of my Mother's neighbours; however, without looking a gift horse in the mouth, we may have to turn it down after looking it up.

My main concerns from what I've found out:

~ It can be very bulky, even when folded down as you have to remove the seat from the frame

~ it's hard to fold down alone with a child, due to above problem.

~ the wheels can become squeaky and may even fall off

~ cup holders break easily (less of an actual issue for us, but does spark a few concerns about overall quality)

~The sun canopy is not large enough, especially when in reclining position as it moves with the seat

~ the basket is difficult to access.

So, it does seem like there are a few issues. We weren't really looking into travel systems as neither if us drive and we're not likely to in the near future. WE live quite close to town so all our travel is on foot or via public transport. we're also up a steep hill, so a pushchair would ideally be lightweight. our house is also fairly small so we were looking more into umbrella fold pushchairs more, like a Maclaren one or the like.

Does anyone have a Graco Signature Series 3-in-1 Modular Stroller? What's your experience, and do you think it would be suitable for our needs?

Any suggestions anyway? :)

TIA

If you are in the uk the car seat won't be legal as this is a US pushchair that isn't available in the uk. You may be able to fit a uk Graco seat on it if you wanted.

It wouldn't be a pushchair that would be good for public transport. I would have a look at it and seat what it is like and maybe use it for the first bit while you get used to what it is really like to have a baby and what is important for you in a pushchair.
A pushchair being heavy to carry doesn't mean it is heavy to push. That pushchair doesn't really seam that heavy and lots fold in two bits.

If it is for free I would have it. When baby is 6mths there is lots more choice of pushchair

thank you for the reply :)
as it turns out Mum had the wrong one; it's actually a Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe, we're heading off to Toys-r-us to look at one :3
