HELP!

I have a sone of 17 months and a daughter of 7 months. I got the p&t dash model thinking it would last me as it converts back to a single which I thought was great.
However it is getting on my lumps now, it has cost me well over £100 in innertubes in the 8 months I have been using it, this is with slime and puncture shields in place (which helped has reduced the purchases to 2 a month, was buying them every other day before this) I live rurally so brambles and hundreds of them on a 10 minute walk to school twice a day is what is causing the problem. The raincover is flimsy and my youngest just grabs it and pulls it off her.

After spending a small fortune on this pushchair what with all the added extras and extra tyre bits. I am reluctant no unable to finacially stretch to an expensive model. I do however need something else even if it is just a backup. I would prefer something similar but without inflatable tyres. Would prefer something that converts so I don't have to buy another pushchair further down the line.

Please someone help me, before I make another bad purchase.

My suggestion would be to look at a Kidz Kargo Duellette although I it depends really how rural your route is. The Britax B-Dual is probably your best bet to be honest although the Hauck Duett is good too - just not quite as nice a ride, and made more cheaply.

I agree with Tiggy, the B Dual would probably offer you the most comfortable push, I have recently had one of these and the Duett .The B Dual is much bouncier and more pleasant to push, especially if you live anywhere remotely bumpy but it's significantly wider. Depends whether or not that would be an issue for you.

I also found that I could handle, tip (just) and turn the B Dual with one hand whilst holding the older one's hand across roads etc. which I found impossible with the Duett. That's the major reason I sold the Duett, it's good if you only have the buggy to handle but not great for child if you have an elder one out of pushchair that still needs significant erm... herding as mine does!
