What the title says.
I've seen a cheapish 2nd hand Mura and am thinking ti might be good to jog with (slow jog)
I have a techno XT which you can't jog with. I mainly use a sling (say 95%) but would use the Mura to up my exersize.
What do you think?
If it makes an difference we are emigrating to australia in October

as I understand it (from the research I did before purchse) if you are going to run with a buggy you ought to have something thats a 3 wheeler and the front wheel needs to be fixed or lockable and ideally would have suspension and at least 16 inch wheels - I run with a nipper sport and have to say it's fab for both me and DD2

You need a mountain buggy light as a feather and can be pushed one handed (well one finger really). You can get proper running buggies but MB or nipper sounds like would suit what you want it for. The Mura only has a small front wheel and if you think of the weight of the pushchair at least you would get a work out for your arms too as is it very very heavy.

You defo need suspensision.

I bought a cheapy mothercare 3 wheeler for 20 quid locally off ebay years ago for dd as we live by the beach and for running. It was big and heavy but easy to run with and I sold it I think for 20 quid in the local paper afterwards!

Best bet is a dedicated runner/jogger with 16-20" wheels. A Mura just isn't suitable to jog with (not from the baby's point of view!).

I've been jogging with a 360 nipper, I've only been on flat pavements so it's not a hard ride for ds.

I've been looking into it myself, a lot of people on runners forums are using stuff like the phil and teds, nippers, mountain buggys etc. They're not running buggies as such but a lot of them would take a faster shuffle on an even surface. Any sort of off roading, get a decent dedicated running one.

truthsweet I've seen that, it looks lovely!

Wow. Thanks for the advice. I am now searching ebay high and low for a bargain! I have a couple on my watch list ending tomorrow so fingers crossed!

Well I purchased a Kiddy Cruiser Adventure. Went for my first run on Monday. It was fab. Nice and light quite smooth. DS managed to snack happily in the front while I jogged.

On the down side I think it needs a proper comfort pack as the straps are a bit close to DS neck.
