Mountain Buggy Duet- so what are the cons?

I've been reading alot about the Duet, I think I have finally found the double buggy I want! Doesn't seem to have many negative reviews...does anyone have a different story? I did watch a youtube review where the seat width was mentioned, however I would be buying this for a 13month old (petite little baby!) and newborn, so the width shouldn't be much of an issue.

Negatives - to be honest, you have a small age gap, so you shouldn't have the issues I had. I have a 21 month age gap and my Duet pulled to the side that my eldest was on whenever I hit a camber or slope. I had to keep my shoes off my eldest because every time she moved her feet she kicked her brother and scratched his feet (inadvertantly but their feet were so close). She used to lean over and poke her brother too when he was sleeping because she had a perfect close view of him!! The main ones otherwise are that the handlebar is relatively low. It may seem high, but its not in relation to other pushchairs. It was just a bit too low for me and caused me back ache. I have since had a Swift and that was the same, so I am now sure that handle height was a big issue for me on the Duet (I was never 100% sure until the Swift). The fold is large - its flat and bulky. You need a big car boot or a good place to store it (it will stand on its handle). I struggled to lift it into my car mainly. All round it was too big for me to handle folded TBH. Also whilst its narrow, the widest point is in the middle. Usually a pushchair wheels go under a display eg clothes, jewellery etc because they are the widest point, but I kept knocking things off displays at waist height ie at the widest point instead. It got annoying TBH but I guess you get used to it. I dont like the tricky to undo buckle (supposedly for the children) but yet there are quick release buckles on the child's shoulders!!). I dont like the rough handlebar rubber but thats easily covered. Finally the car seat adaptors are only for up to 9kgs which isn't usually the point you take a baby out of the car seat (if you use one) so watch that.
I strongly suggest you go and have a play with a Duet, especially lifting and carrying it.
