Petite star Kurvi Abstract - advice anyone?

Thanks to Tiggiwinkle's reviews I had decided on a second hand icandy cherry for my second child as I wanted a pushchair I could use with my maxi cosi car seat and one that had a carrycot.

BUT, I've just spotted the Petite Star Kurvi abstract has all of that and the carrycot is built in. It looks lovely and I could afford it brand new.

I've had my Petite Star Zia from my first child since he was born and he's now 4 and a half and still goes in it. It's falling apart a bit now from over use but I loved it so much I am really tempted to get a new abstract rather than a used icandy.

Any advice or reviews of the abstract? I already know the icandy is fab.

Thanks

I don't think there will be any comparison in terms of quality. But the benefit of buying new is that you hold a warranty if there's any problem. The Kurvi won't take your carseat though. I have heard positive things about the Kurvi but only as first impressions and early use rather than long term use so it's hard to say how it will be in 3 years time.
I think you'll need to weigh up the pros and cons yourself but do try and see a Kurvi in real life first. :)

Thanks. I've decided to go with the icandy.

But the Kurvi Abstract definitely takes a car seat. Either Petite star's own or a maxi cosi.

I briefly looked at it but I was immediately put off by reviews saying that you can only change the seat recline without the baby in the pram! Hardly practical!

Yes, I saw that too which seems a bit weird. It must be wrong. None of Petite Star's other pushchairs are like that. Maybe they mean you can only change it from carrycot to buggy when the baby isn't in it. That would make more sense.
