Which stroller with buggy board?

Have a bjcs with 2 seats which has been used rarely. Plan to sell but dd is 9 months and ds is 2.4. He walks very well but I'd still like the option to give him a rest.

So, in your experience, what should I buy?

Why aren't you keeping the BJCS if you only need an occasional second seat and rarely use it? Cant you simply put the second seat in the basket?

Otherwise a buggy board, Strollirider or similar is an option. I personally wouldn't get any of these. I would either keep the BJCS or buy another single / tandem option which maybe works better for you. The new Micralite Twofold might be worth a look.

Does the strollirider make the BJCM as hard to push as having a buggy board on the back of it?

Sorry for the hijack, I was hoping someone would be having issues similar to me and going through threads and your mention of the strollirider made me wonder. PLus, it would get round the fact that DDs head only just fits between the handle and the fabric on the BJCM!

Thank you

We've got a McLaren Quest with a buggy board, the Lascalle one (I think that's the spelling). It fit(ted?) fine and seemed to fit most models when we read the instructions.

We tried the board (a lascal maxi) on our very old m&p pulse today. It was ok, if a little awkward, as you are holding on at arms length.

I guess that is the same with any stroller though. I am quite tall, as is ds, so would prefer something with adjustable handles or suits tall people.

I've looked at a few online tonight after searching google but nothing's jumping out at me. Didn't like the look of the Silver Cross Pop (bit boring) or the Maclaren Techno XT (ditto). Quite liked the Petite Star Zia4 but it looks a bit flimsy for my 2 and a bit more than I wanted to spend.

Any more suggestions? Need to see IRL I think but would I'd to have somewhere to start. I am no good at decision making and DH thinks we should just make do with the 6? year old m&p, but I hate it. It was a hand me down which was useful at the time but it is impossible to steer, has a terrible recline and the basket is miniscule.
