I think BJCM is so heavy: I get wrist ache. My cam was way lighter than BJCM, so I would say Bee+. I have only had an older Be and it rocked my world, it pisses all over the BJCM.

I don't find my bjcm heavy at all. I love it! Very easy to push (and fold) with one hand
UnnamedFemaleProtagonist · 21/03/2012 22:51
Oh yes, no-one can dispute the fold, just the push. I havethe four wheel so maybe that's clunkier?
Tiggywunkle · 22/03/2012 00:14
I think the 4 wheel BJCM is actually more nippy than the 3 wheeler. Its also more stable if you need to hold a child's hand - its the reason I swapped to a 4 wheeler.
The Bee is more nippy but its hard work to use whether its having to hop on one foot to open it parent facing, or having the seat fall off because you didnt quite find the right spot to put the seat before folding, or you accidentally pushing the seat height down instead of hitting the recline button, or the sides not clicking into place properly when it opens and you then wondering why the whole thing is shaking like a jelly....and thats the start of the issues!
There really is nothing easier than a BJCM (with a bit of sturdiness to it) - and its one of the lightest pushchairs I have used.
My other favourite is the Maxi Cosi Noa - it looks a bit odd when you first look at it, but the more I use ours, the more I appreciate the brilliance of the design in something that looks so innocent. I think the fold is actually as easy as the BJCM hence my caveat above, but the pushchair itself is more of a stroller - light weight - unlike the BJCM which I still consider to be a pushchair IYKWIM. Our Noa is well travelled and is one of the handiest little pushchairs ever. In fact it gets used more than our BJCM because its so neat and easy. It really is deceptively strong and practical with a decent recline, decent basket if you pack it right, pocket for the raincover and its no problem to hang bags off the handles. Its excellent.

Another one here who finds the bjcm heavy to push, I couldn't push it one handed it needed two to turn a corner, I have purchased three over the years as keep getting sucked in over the fold but they never last long here.. I love the bee but not the bee plus, I think bugaboo did themselves a disservice when the brought the plus out. The original bee is much nicer to push and doesn't hae the issues of the plus. I have had one for the longest of any pushchair and ended up preferring it over the cam.

The Britax B-Mobile and B-Agile both have bar handles to push one handed as well. But aren't so great if you're tall.
neverlookback · 22/03/2012 13:49
pardon my ignorance ladies but what is a BJCM????? TA!!!
5madthings · 22/03/2012 14:16

I like the way the mountain buggy swift handles and it's air tyres better than the foam wheels of the baby jogger city mini in my experience.
I hear baby jogger are bringng out two new models soon...a baby jogger GT which will have air tyres whilst still having the baby jogger advantage of super quick easy fold and a much bigger seat than the MB Swift.
The other model is a baby jogger versa, which is similar but has a seat which can parent face!
However I'm unclear as of yet whether the versa will be available with an air tyre option.. For me with an older toddler I would definitely want air tyres. I think they are more versatile for dealing with country pathways, ye olde English cobbled streets, uneven pavements, kerbs etc. just gives a softer ride IMO.
I do recommend the MB Swift as its v cute and much smaller than it often appears in photos. The seat still fits my average 3.5y old with room to spare.
It's easy to push one handed and very manoeuvrable.
All the above buggies push one handed due to the single bar (rather than two separate handles) and all have lay back. I'm not sure which is the smallest though...maybe see if there are dimensions on www.bestbuggy.co.uk ?
