Sorry if this is a bit of a repeat of questions asked already but I'm getting myself all confuddled!

I am pregnant with 4th baby and will not need anything that modifies into a double. I already have a maxi cosi car seat so really want a pushchair that takes this, and also a carrycot as I will not be having a crib downstairs and want baby to stay sleeping on the school run (well that's the plan!) and I've never really liked travel systems.

To give you an idea of what I might get on with this time, I've previously owned several pushchairs.... anything Britax I hate with a passion. I had a travel system which had a crappy handle that gave me blisters, I had the Vigour 3+ which tipped over and put me off three wheelers for life but I loved the parent facing aspect, this was replaced with the BSmart 4 which I loathed, and my good old Silver Cross stroller which is still going strong and my beloved Phil and Teds which we used and used as a double until it went to buggy heaven.

One of the essentials is the pushchair is light and easy to manouvre as I have a dodgy back and SPD which STILL hasn't gone from DD3 (now aged 4), so I cannot have anything which behaves like a Tesco trolley else I will never walk again :o

The Cherry and Strawberry both look good to me, I don't know why but this current trend for small front wheels is off-putting. The pushchair is never going to be used on rough terrain so I guess shouldn't be an issue. I like the size of the basket underneath (needs to be big to accommodate 3 bookbags & lunchboxes) and felt easy enough to handle in the shop. I haven't fallen in love though... and don't adore any of the colours and don't want to pay another £200 for the limited edition Cherry just because I like navy! DH doesn't like the position of the seat on the iCandy; I guess because he prefers the reclining back of the seat rather than this one where the whole unit reclines and essentially the child is in the same position Confused

The Uppababy seems to be a better option money-wise. I've never handled one so don't know what they are like. The woman in the shop at the weekend was a bit rubbish and didn't offer it as an alternative, because her knowledge of which chassis took the maxicosi wasn't quite correct so I didn't get to explore all options.

Are these my best two choices? Or am I missing a key brand that ticks all the boxes?

Thanks in advance for any help!

The Vista would be a very good buy for you. The fact that you want to use the carrycot for sleeping in the house is a key point. The Vista is one of very few you can actually use as a moses basket. You can use the Bugaboo Cameleon carrycot as a moses basket too and it's a lovely pushchair to push. But the basket is hard to access in carrycot mode. The Vista's basket is humongous so is much better for carrying the other children's school things.

And the Vista comes with Maxi Cosi adapters. I love my Vista, it is so easy to push with one hand, but is quite wide and needs a bit of getting used to the width of the back wheels, but I can put 2 x lunch boxes, water bottles and micro scooters in the back and still have loads of room for shopping Grin and the rain cover for the bassinet fits the Maxi Cosi car seat too.

I think I need to have a proper look at the Vista :)

I'm just panicking now about having a baby in a carry cot and not being secure while travelling along.... Confused

If you get to see a carrycot, look underneath the mattress to see if you can add a harness to any lurking D rings.
