Any recommendations for a good pram to take running? We have a Bugaboo Chameleon but were hoping to pick up something suitable for DH to take running on eBay. Thanks so muuch.

I ran with a P&T Sport, until DS decided he wasn't keen at about 9 months. Trained for Leeds 10K !

I don't run but the Baby Jogger Summit XC could be worth a look.

Generally running with a baby isn't rec. until the baby is at least 6m due to the movement possibly harming the baby. It may be more advisable to wait until 12m depending on the terrain/environment your DH runs in.

That's why most running pushchairs are only suitable from 6m up and don't have a lie flat facility.

More details here.

Schwinn make good running pushchairs as do Baby Jogger but you need a very large wheel (at least 12" for flat terrain) and a hand brake. Most 'Jogging' pushchairs aren't they are just styled a bit like one. More details here

Thanks, everyone - and especially TruthSweet for preventing me breaking the baby and for the helpful links. Looks like we'll be waiting a while as I'm only 34 weeks pregnant! hanks.

out n about nipper sport - have used it from 5 months and it's amazing, big wheels, great suspension and just glides along

Baby jogger performance will be the best think in truth. It's to do with wheel tracking and balance. Though a new version of the summit Xc (not yet released) with wheel tracking might work if you want something versatile. The current model doesn't have adjustable tracking and I'm afraid when the front wheel is locked out theres too much waggle on it and it isn't any good to run with. If your not going fast and the pavement is even you would be able to run with it if you left the font wheel in swivel mode. I guess it depends on if you are after a casual jog or if you're a trained athlete! Wink
