Sorry if this has already been asked....Anyhoo my 4 month old is hating lying down underneath his brother! We now have screaming every time we leave the house. I think it is because its so clostrophobic (sp? Sorry!) And he can't see anything. Ds1 has just turned 2 so can't walk everywhere yet. What did/could you do for this in between stage?
Can't use a side by side as have to go everywhere by bus and DH has vetoed anymore pram buying!
Thanks

Does the lower seat not recline enough? It wouldn't need to be completely flat at 4 months. And are you putting him in a coccon? If you are, you mind find he feels less enclosed just strapped into the seat. I have no other suggestions! Grin

I would stick the toddler seat at the bottom and put your DS1 there and put DS1 in the main bit but sitting slightly up. At 4 months old DS2 will have a bit more of head control. Is DS1 ok with walking for a bit?

Or, get the car seat adapter and a maxi cosi and pop DS2 in there with DS1 on the bottom.

I had this problem when DS2 was 5 months old. I just reclined the second seat and put him straight into it. He was instantly happy.

I moved DD from the cocoon to the reclined back seat at just over 4 months old. She was way too cramped lying flat underneath the big seat and getting crabby. As soon as she could see the world going by she was quite happy.

She did have a buggy snuggle to keep her warm, although being in the back meant she was sheltered from most of the breeze anyway.
