Micralite Toro - big enough for a 3 year old?

Hi all

No comments along the line of 'what is a 3yr old still doing in a pram' please.

My question is just whether anyone has a micralite toro and do you reckon it'd be big enough for an averagely sized 3yr old?

Someone mentioned that the seat is quite small. Would I be better off going for a fastfold?

Thanks

B

Oops - meant or should I get a super-lite.

Does anyone know if the carry cot fits on the super-lite?

Thanks

Yes the carrycot fits the super light. I've yet to see a new toro (with larger seat) irl, but the baby gizmo video review of the older toro suggests older kids can use the plastic footrest at the front of the buggy and that there is plenty of headroom. My guess would be yes a three year old should fit!
The kiddicare deal on the black super light classic with free seat liner gets even better if you type "Morrisons" into the promo code box. It's over £100 cheaper than the toro, has a higher weight limit and has a very comfy hammock style seat. I have squeezed a 6 y old into a classic (for fun!) and it was still really easy to push! Rumour has it that hamster bags can be fitted to the micralite too (according to an amazon review of the hamster bags).

Many thanks for your responses.

I'm just not sure about the super-lite because of the lack of leg rest. We're hoping to have a second child and I'm not sure how comfortable the super-lite would be for a baby (once they are out of the carry cot). Also - my daughter still has long sleeps during the day, sometimes in the pram as I walk alot and not sure how comfy that would be with legs dangling in the super lite.

What do you all think?

It depends on your daughter, but mine wont use a footrest even if its perfect for her! She much prefers dangling her legs!

mine don't sleep in the micralite, i have other pushchairs i use more often

What pushchairs do you prefer OnePramWoman?
