I got mine from letsgostrolling via ishopusa. BUT do make sure they have one actually in stock. The website said they did but it took something like 2-3 months to actually arrive! It's worth a phone call to them to ask - they are lovely :)

ooo andy any idea what might get charged at customs - found an amazon seller who will ship to uk £93 including shipping but nothing for customs...

I can't remember now - I think it was about £150ish for everything - a fair bit. Customs will be something like £30 I would think. Its usually £9ish standard handling charge depending on who it arrives through plus £20-30 per £100.
They were due over here I think in May this year and slowly the date got knocked back. I have learnt not to wait for things now lol
The Photos are here under the green "Reviews and information tab". I thought the Rumble seat was great as long as your child isn't going to nap at all in it. I seriously would have loved to have kept it but we had no need for it as well as the Peach Blossom.

my dd (3.5 years) is very near top weight limit and it really is for occassional shopping trips when she can sit in and play with her leappad etc - but likely to put dd who is 20 months in rumbleseat as he doesn't often nap - after struggling with xmas shopping as she was 'bored' we have decided to look into it more seriously as planning to have another this year (well fingers crossed!) - any excuse to use the uppababy pram bit!!

Just had an email from 'discount baby - Bournemouth' who are saying it will be here late Jan and £95 - but as you say will it just get put back again??

ooo, strange question how tall is your daughter? thanks again :)

She was 100cms when the photos were taken. She was over the weight limit. I thought it would flinch when she sat in it, but it didn't budge. I felt confident with her in it after tentatively trying a few steps and kerbs! I put DS in and he fell asleep and it was awful. His head was violently rocking forwards as he nodded off. I flew round and pulled him out mid shop and swapped the children over (I had put DD in the main seat because she was over weight). But it's a fantastic add on, worked really well (I think I wouldn't have bothered with the footrest part long term), it fits in the basket or I suspect could be hung off the handlebar. Importantly, unlike the City Select, it was easy-ish to get up kerbs etc (bearing in mind my two are older / heavier).
I will believe the Rumble seat in the UK when it arrives :)

lol well just weighed DD she is almost 34lb and 92cm .... so not much room to grow - but again am happy for short periods if feels sturdy or can put DS in the rumbleseat if needed... hmmm..... is an amazon seller that coming out at £93 with shipping or a couple on ebay.com who will ship which coming out about £97-100 - am i likely to get caught with customs buying from either route? just wondered if all amazon stuff automatically got stopped at customs

I thought that when you buy from amazon the customs charge deposit is included. Then if they don't charge for it when it arrives in the uk you can apply to have the deposit back. I've never done it myself but others have and said that was how it worked. I'm not sure how it works with the eBay sellers though.

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 31/12/2011 12:08

If you buy direct from Amazon then they include taxes but I don't know if sellers do. If you go right through to the almost final check out on Amazon - dont worry because you confirm right at the end - then it adds taxes onnif its going to do so. You also sometimes find during check out that they won't ship. I have had to pay taxes on every pushchair to date (and clothes last week!) :(

saoirse86 · 31/12/2011 12:13

Oh ok, I misunderstood it. I thought children's things (definitely clothes) were tax free?

fairimum · 31/12/2011 13:04

:( ahhh ok I went as far as the 'confirm payment' bit - so card details etc and it didn't include any customs/taxes etc but it might be as it is an amazon seller, rather than amazon!
