Has anybody used this product and if so are they pleased with it? I have my second child due in end Feb and my daughter will only be 11 months so defo need a double. The price is so high I wanted any feedback available or alternative suggestions before rushing out and buying one. I like the fact that you can add a car seat next to a pushchair. Any comments good or bad would be gratefully received. Thanks :)

Twinkle had one and was disappointed but I can't remember why exactly. I'm sure she'll be along soon with plenty of thoughts and advice! Xmas Smile

Do you want the Duet because it's so narrow but still a side by side? If either of those things aren't necessary, I wouldn't get it. I'd prefer a tandem or a proper side by side.

I agree with aswellasyou. Unless width is a major concern, then don't buy it. A good many side by sides fit through a standard doorway.
IMHzo the Duet is best suited to twins. I had issues with the Duet pulling towards the side my eldest was on (2.5 years old), her kicking her brother by accident because their feet were too close, her pulling his hood up and then trying to tickle / wake him up when he was asleep. the fabric bunches up horribly around the childrens heads and backs after reclining.
I woukd recommend you have a good look at other pushchairs like the Easywalker Duo, the TFK Twinner Twist Duo, the Stroll-Air My Duo or one of the other pushchairs which take a car seat. Have a look here for more ideas

Thanks so much for the replies. I will defo now have a look at some of the other brands TwinkleWunkle suggested. I was initially drawn to the duet due to how narrow it is. My concern was when the children got bigger. I think some more double buggy homework is now neccessary!! Thanks

I know one friend who finds the seat widths an issue, but it wasn't a problem for me.
I dont know if it helps, but having gone through a double pushchair journey and a half this year, I have to say, I wouldnt try and find the perfect double for long term. Buy for the first year to start with, which may well include a pushchair that can take two car seats (BTW the Mountain Buggy Duet / Duo car seat adaptors can only hold 9kgs - my son was that at 10 months old). Buy wisely and you shouldn't lose much if anything on it. Then reassess once your children are both 18 months / 2 years ish and buy something else then. Double pushchairs are good to buy off Ebay because they often dont get that much use. Come back to us if you want any more help.

I agree with Twinkle totally! There is just no perfect double pushchair that will be right for every occasion over the next say 2.5 years. If you have plenty of money available then it's nice to buy new and you then get the warranty. But if you don't, buying second hand often means you hardly lose any money, if at all, and sometimes make money! Or keep an eye out for deals, Boots are often good for deals with discounts, points and cashback, but that depends on what you want.
