ok, i have had loads of pushchairs over the last 7+years but i havent really been a maclaren/stroller kinda girl. we go to the beach alot and alot of the roads are pretty bumpy here. Anyway my last babies were twins so i have had all the big twin prams and a couple of bees (which i sold last year as i didnt really need them) i currently have a p&t hammerhead (soon to be on e-bay) a BJ twinner ii, an easywalker QTRO (barely been used so soon to be on e-bay) and a p&t sidebyside. anyway the twinnies will be 3 at xmas and i only really use the p&t sidebyside for the school run and when in the city as most of the time when walking the dog/at the park etc i dont need a buggy.
SO i want to take all four (aged 7y, 5y, and 2 almost 3y) on the train BUT i know one will want carrying at some point and i need somewhere for the nappybag (with spareclothes - pottytraining)/drinks/snacks etc. so i have decided to get something small that i can use if needed and can be popped in/next to the luggage bit on the train. what do you think? the only one i have had was the bee but i have had a BJCS before and i think the BJC MINI looks ok and is £99, i have heard people talking about the superlite. it needs to fold small and be light to carry on and off the train etc and also have good access to the basket and hopefully not fall over with a nappybag on the handle. please does anyone have any advice? i am going slowly mad with all the buggies available

micralite out then re nappy bag Smile the bjcm looks very good and has rave reviews on here, and the fold is great or if you are short like me 5 foot the b-agile looks good.

pramsgalore · 15/11/2011 14:39

the micro does not get rave reviews just the city mini

there are a couple of utube vids comparing it to the BJCM, i didnt even look at britax strollers before, i know they make good car seats are their buggies just as good?

The B-Agile handle is very low! Be warned!
For an occasional outing pushchair I would get the Maxi-Cosi Noa. It amazingly didn't topple when empty with a very heavy shopping basket on, the basket is just big enough to squidge my large handbag in anyway. It folds and unfolds neatly one handed and if you aren't using it then you can tow it behind you. It freestands nicely as well. It's nice and neat, has a recline and works very well. But it is an occasional day trip type pushchair. It did us proud on holiday. The raincover even fits nicely in the back pocket and hasn't yet fallen out!
If not, can you wait for the new Quinny Yezz?
We also have a Safety 1st Surf which is teeny but amazingly my 3 year old looks more comfy in it than larger pushchairs!
There's also the Leebruss Takeoff and the Quicksmart easy fold and backpack pushchairs.
I also like my Babyhome Emotion Xtreet.

Just to add the £99 "mini's" will be Micros and are heavier and not as good as the City Mini.

make sure you watch the uk b-agile videos on you tube, i made that mistake ours are different, the hood is not as big although a part unzips to reveal a mesh part i think, ours has 4 wheels the us one has 3 and our secondary lock is slightly different.
