It's been 'delayed' again til Jan, could be delayed further. So now I need to do an emergency shop for an alternative.

I had my heart set on it! Why why why do company's do this so much?! Why give estimate dates they never stick to? Why just not
Give any dates at all until they have signed the prams off in full.

I wonder if the new surf feels as robust as it looks. The original one looked and felt shockingly flimsy so I discounted it when I was searching:( Shame really as I have had a fair few silver cross prams in my time.

Does anyone have a link to the iCandy Facebook page?! I can only see a USA one. I'm holding out for the iCandy peach jogger. At a babyshow I went to in September stores were taking orders for it but when we went to get it in October we were told it wasn't out yet! So i emailed them and they said November and it still aint out! Gonna hold out till the last possible minute

The Peach Joggers are all en route to the UK now. So should be here relatively soon although they need to be turned around in the UK and I believe are being sent out in order that the shops ordered them. So different shops will have different arrival times. It's maybe worth a phone around?

I thought their Facebook page was a general one, but this is the one I know of. They've definitely posted about UK retailers on this one.

Far too slow!

I ordered the strawberry as its due in jan now and I'm due in feb (and I really bloody want one )

However, one more delay and I am ordering the uppababy vista from kiddicare online ASAP lol

I heard about the new icandy peach 2 back in february and loved the Silver Mint colour. I contacted icandy and asked if it was realistic that I would get my order by the time I'm due (1st June) given the big mess up with the strawberry and they told me 'yes' place the order with your shop and they can order it for you at the nursey show in March - which they did. I have now just been told that my pram will not be available until September!!! What the f*ck!!! Why do they have the nerve take peoples money and give them false hopes did they not learn fromtheir mistakes with the Strawberry? They can't keep doing this to customers, they tried to offer me the black magic colour which they hope to have in stock by mid june - Are these people thick?? I am due 1st June!! I have to now rush round to try and find a pram I don't even like and hope I can have it ordered and delivered in time (given that I do not give birth early). They should never launch any product unless it is ready, would love to know why the hell its going to take another 6 months to get the colour I want.

Have you ordered from an independent retailer? I am surprised at the September date but I think John Lewis have a period of exclusivity on the new Peach from what I am hearing? They may be worth a call.

....and they're confirming that there is only Black Magic available at John Lewis with no set date confirmed for other colours or availability with other retailers.

I have just had this confirmed too :( But also there's no guarantee of one from any JL as the bigger JL stores will get the first allocations too :(

There will be one tiny batch available to some independent retailers this summer but there's no dates for any other colours now until the backlog is cleared of the Strawberries etc.

Very frustrating.

If it was the pram of my dreams I think I would 'make do' with a reasonably-priced lay-flat stroller until it arrived. Chances are you will want a stroller for a bigger child at some point anyway...
