If you were buying a pushchair specifically to use in conjunction with a buggy board, which would you buy?

Basically, which pushchair allows you to walk properly without kicking the buggy board? And 'works' with a buggy board, i.e. access to brakes and basket, comfort for both children, etc?

At the moment I am looking at buying a Silver Cross pop, but someone said it was a serious pain with a buggy board. Is it?

Children are a small 3 year old and a one year old. We want something relatively lightweight but not cheap and nasty. (Though I am a bit cheap myself, so intend to buy it on ebay if I can.Grin)

I realise this is not the most important question in the world right now, but do feel free to express violent, drunken opinions on this matter of enormous significance to me.Wink

looking at it with the switch, dc1 would be standing at a slight angle [leaning backwards slightly] when seat is facing you, but i never really noticed as ds never complained and always stood on the step holding onto the handles fine and he was always on the step,

We've used with Maclaren Techno XLR and a small Chicco 0.6 something-or-other. Would not recommend the Chicco, would the XLR. Handles are extendable so you can actually walk without being bent over so much. It's not that lightweight though which is annoying but fir me the benefit to my back was worth it. Oh and no problems with brakes.

There are some Bébé Confort pushchairs that have a toddler step and reversible seat. The Trophy and Elite seem to be two of the names but they look the same to me! Here are some on eBay.

Babystyle oyster as they have their own board and it is an amazing invention, doesnt get in the way, no adaptors and clicks under the seat whn you don need it x

Nicplus2 · 12/11/2011 19:11

Oh and i also use the oyster ride on board on my urbo occasionaly Smile

FannyPriceless · 23/11/2011 13:25

Does the Babystyle oyster ride on board attach to other buggies? Is it only other Babystyle buggies, or other brands too? I like the look of it so am now on the hunt for one.

I bought a M&P pliko as suggested, but the close position of the toddler step means my daughter has to stand quite awkwardly and she doesn't like it. Oh well, only £20 on ebay but I'll have to sell it on now. Still looking...

We have a maclaren xt and an obaby board, ds loves it, is very comfy and stable on it, I kick it a bit but tbh I feel awkward with any stroller I'm more a big air fill tyre buggy person. And its not used once a month so I've never got used to it. Dp says its excellent and hed recomend it.

I have a board on my mutsy and love it as ds is inside the handle its the mutsy own board and works brilliantly but the pushchair is a beast!
